2026 Easter Cookie Boxes
Here are the six recipes I used to make my 2026 Easter cookie boxes. I love how they all look together. They have a great balance of texture, flavors, and colors.
I usually use these 10×10-inch boxes, but the box in the pictures below is a 9×13-inch box. It was HUGE, but I forgot to order my usual boxes and had to work with what I had.
Needless to say, my family, friends, and neighbors got some JUMBO cookie boxes this year. I don’t think they minded, though 🙂

These easy chick cookies are so fun to make and don’t require any fancy cookie cutters!! They bake up soft and chewy and are perfect for Spring.

These buttercream sheep cookies bake up soft and chewy and are topped with delicious homemade buttercream frosting.

These mini crinkle cookies bake up perfectly chewy and soft and are streaked with those gorgeous powdered sugar crinkles!
These gave my Easter cookie boxes such a great pop of color.

These carrot cake cookies have all the delicious flavors of carrot cake, just in cookie form!! They bake up soft and chewy and are drizzled with a cream cheese glaze.

These sugar cookie sandwiches are the perfect treat! They bake up with crisp edges and soft, chewy centers and are filled with homemade cream cheese buttercream.
You can make them any color, and I chose to make a pink batch for this year’s boxes.

6. Carrot Meringues (I used my meringue rose recipe)
I modified my meringue rose recipe to make these carrot meringues! I colored the pink portion orange and added a little orange extract in place of rose water.

Thank you for being an inspiration.
You are too sweet!! <3 Thanks Deborah!
What order do you make the treats for them to last to make the boxes? Do you make them on the same day? Or can freeze some? But then will that ruin the treats?
Hi Fee,
All of the cookies can be made in advance and frozen for a few weeks, except for the meringue. I made 3 of the cookies one week (The chicks, the crinkle cookies, and the carrot cake cookies), and then I made the other 3 recipes the following weekend. You can definitely spread out the baking. I just recommend making the meringues as close as possible to when you give out cookie boxes, because they can soften over time. Hope that helps, happy baking!
The Carrot Meringue link opens a Rosewater Cake Recipe. No Carrot Meringue recipe.

no they aren’t. That is buttetcream not meringue
Hi Joanne,
Like I mention in the blog post next to the link for the carrot meringues, I modified my to make these carrot meringues! I colored the pink portion orange and added a little orange extract in place of rose water. The hyperlink in the section goes to my rose meringue recipe. I’m not sure what you’re clicking to go to my rosewater cake recipe.
Hope that helps, happy baking!
It is the same recipe colored and shaped to look like a carrot instead of a rose.
Thank you for sharing these cookie recipes! The combination is a stunning presentation.
