2026 Halloween Cookie Box
These are the recipes I used to make my 2026 Halloween cookie boxes. I love how they came together, with lots of fun flavors, bright colors, and spooky shapes.
For more details about planning, managing your baking timeline, how to keep cookies fresh, and how to pack/ship them, check out my original Christmas cookie box post from last year.

These Frankenstein shortbread cookies are tender, buttery, and decorated with dark chocolate!
They’re naturally colored with matcha powder, but if you aren’t a fan of matcha, you can always use a bit of green gel food coloring.

2. Bat Cookies
These adorable bat cookies bake up soft and chewy and are topped with royal icing, which makes them perfect for stacking.

3. Buttercream Monster Cookies
Next, we have the cute monster cookies! I used my buttercream cookie recipe to make them, and used a 2.5-inch circle cookie cutter.
I left 1/2 cup of frosting white, colored 1/2 cup of frosting black, 1/4 cup of frosting pink, and then I divided the remaining frosting evenly between three bowls and used electric green, orange, and neon purple gel food coloring.
I piped the eyes and mouth with a small round piping tip (like a Wilton 5), and piped the monster fur with a small grass piping tip (like a Wilton 233).

These Halloween skull cookies are made with a cream cheese sugar cookie dough that holds its shape well and tastes so delicious! They bake up perfectly crunchy thanks to a generous dunk in sanding sugar.

This is one of my favorite Fall recipes, so I couldn’t resist including these cookies in this year’s cookie box. They are packed with warm spices, filled with creamy cheesecake filling, and drizzled with a cream cheese glaze.

These pumpkin-shaped cookies look just like little pumpkins and don’t require any fancy cookie cutters!! They bake up soft and chewy with the perfect hint of pumpkin spice.
