2025 Valentine’s Day Cookie Boxes

Here are the recipes I used to make my 2025 Valentine’s Day cookie boxes. I love how this one came together!! It has such a fun balance of flavors, colors, and shapes.

For more details about planning, managing your baking timeline, how to keep cookies fresh, and how to pack/ship them, check out my original Valentine’s Day cookie box post from last year.

1. Peanut Butter Hearts

These peanut butter hearts taste just like a Reese’s peanut butter cup with an elevated flavor! They’re salty and sweet, soft and chewy, and so delicious.

2. Pinwheel Cookies

I loved these cookies in my Christmas cookie boxes that I decided to make a Valentine’s version! That swirl is just so eye-catching, and the sprinkled edges give these cookies such a great crunch.

I used deep pink gel food coloring to make both shades of pink dough.

3. Chocolate Linzer

These adorable chocolate linzer cookies bake up beautifully and are buttery, tender, and filled with gooey Nutella.

4. Conversation Heart Cookies

These adorable conversation heart cookies bake up deliciously soft and chewy and are decorated with royal icing. They’re the same size and just as fun as conversation heart candies, they just taste better (IMO)!

5. Love Letter Cookies

These love letter cookies are actually made using the same cookie dough and icing recipe as my mini conversation heart cookies! I made a double batch of that recipe (to save time) and used half to make the conversation hearts, and the other half to make these love letter cookies.

6. Strawberry Iced Oatmeal Cookies

I used my oatmeal scotchie recipe as a base for these but excluded the butterscotch chips and nutmeg, and only added 1/4 tsp of cinnamon.

To make the strawberry icing, I whisked together the following ingredients in a small bowl:

  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar (155g)
  • 1/3 cup freeze-dried strawberry powder*** (40g)
  • 3 Tbsp milk of your choice (45g)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (5g)
  • 1/8 tsp fine salt

Let Me Know What You Think!

I hope you have as much fun with your Valentine’s Day baking as I have this year! If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below. Happy baking!

@Brianna, She literally said she used the SAME recipe as the conversation hearts for the envelope cookies. Where the recipe for the love letter cookie pops up, she says it…. Really can’t miss it.

Hi there! I can't seem to find the love letter cookie recipe! The conversation heart one shows up twice when I click on the link for the love letter.

@Harp, hi I was wondering that too. But she said she uses the same exact recipe for the love letter as she did for the conversational hearts. Hope this helps!
