Frozen Yogurt Blueberries

As much as I love a sugary dessert, sometimes I want a healthier alternative to curb my sweet tooth. These frozen yogurt blueberries fit the bill perfectly. They’re tart and sweet, and healthy to boot!

This wonderful little treat is also super easy to make, and you only need 2 ingredients. Healthy snacks don’t get much easier than that!

What You’ll Need to Make Frozen Yogurt Dipped Blueberries

As you could probably infer from the name, all you need to make these are a pint of fresh blueberries and a container of your favorite yogurt.

It also to have a toothpick or skewer on hand. It makes it so much easier to dip the berries and get them fully coated in yogurt.

I do not recommend using frozen blueberries for this because the texture just isn’t quite the same as fresh blueberries once they’re dipped.

However, don’t feel limited to using blueberries. You can really dip any bite sized fruit into yogurt and freeze it! Chunks of mango, pineapple, or even grapes would all taste great.

When it comes to yogurt, you can really use any type. I love using vanilla greek yogurt to add a little protein, but regular yogurt or dairy free yogurt (soy, coconut, etc.) would work great too. You can also use plain or flavored yogurt.

How To Make These Frozen Yogurt Blueberries

To make these frozen yogurt blueberries, line a large baking sheet or plate with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

Wash and dry 1 pint of blueberries. Use a toothpick to dip a blueberry into a yogurt of your choice.

Set the dipped berry on the lined pan and repeat until all your berries are dipped.

Place the pan in the freezer for about an hour, until the yogurt is firm to the touch.

Transfer the frozen berries into an airtight container and store in the freezer. Enjoy the berries straight out of the freezer.

How Should I Store Frozen Yogurt Dipped Blueberries?

Once your berries are fully frozen, you can store them in an airtight container or freezer bag.

Dipped blueberries can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
